Just a quick post to remark how I love it when Scripture backs me up. In an earlier post I stated that no girl will ever complete Jerry and no man or woman will ever complete you. Compete with you maybe, but never complete. Then I came across 1 Timothy 3:16-17. I’ve read it before, but this time I got something new out of it. That’s the great thing about the Bible. It is always fresh. You can read it cover to cover a 100 times, but God will show you something new each time. The Scripture says from the New King James Version, “16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Did you catch it? Scripture, the very Words out of God’s own mouth, makes a man complete. Bazinga! That is if you read the words and live them. A sermon is best lived rather than spoken.
So, a quick review from my earlier posts. A pop test will be given. For us to feel complete, that only comes from God and His Word. If we want joy(from a different post), we must enter into the presence of God by praising Him, thanking Him and just talking with Him. That brings joy.
