I am not a monster. But as a father I am a fairly strict disciplinarian. I don’t allow my kids to be disrespectful, rude or talk back to us, especially to their mother. Despite my efforts, it still happens. They do all of the things I just mentioned. Sandra is not a patsy either. She doesn’t allow them to walk on her. But it still happens. I can’t imagine what my kids would be like if we were slack about these issues. Oh, I can imagine. I’ve seen these types of kids in malls and restaurants and I think I’ve seen these types of kids grow up and become politicians. Can you imagine what we would be like if God didn’t correct us at times? Monsters, maybe?
