He owes her an apology

Tom Brady is the greatest NFL quarterback of all time. No one can debate the numbers:

  • 7 Super Bowl rings
  • 5 Super Bowl Most Valuable Player awards
  • 23 NFL seasons

We can stop there. His NFL accomplishments are impressive, but I’m not here to roast or toast Tom Brady as a professional football player.

Let’s discuss the Netflix Tom Brady Roast.

I was excited to watch the three-hour Tom Brady roast. I’ve been a huge fan of his since fantasy football lured me back to the game in 2007. However, five minutes into the disgusting roast, Kevin Hart ran me off, leaving me very disappointed in Tom Brady.

Tom learned that his decision to allow an R-rated roasting bothered his kids. Tom, you’re a grown man and should have known what you were getting with Kevin Hart.

And what about your mother and father?

What proud mom and dad wouldn’t want to see their son celebrated in front of millions of people? Come on, man! Show more respect for your parents than expect them to suffer through three hours of vile, vulgar talk (I refuse to call it “comedy”).

Did you apologize to your mother? What about your three sisters?

Tom said his 80-year-old dad is his best role model. Tom, would your dad have chosen Kevin Hart to host his roast? Tom Sr. would have shown more respect for his wife and kids and wouldn’t have allowed such raunchy and obscene talk to reach their ears.

Here’s a lesson for every son, father, and grandfather – your life is not your own.

Your decisions affect other people.

Tom Brady may be the G.O.A.T. as an NFL quarterback, but he takes an L on his Netflix roast.
