There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus…Romans 8:1

This verse is telling us that God is not holding our mistakes against us. 1 John 1:9 tells us that “God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we’ve done wrong.”

So if God forgives us and doesn’t hold our mistakes against us, then why do allow other people to? Not that we wear a sign around our neck that says “insult me, mock me, slander me, kick me, I deserve it!” but we allow it by believing it.

We believe what others say about us. We absorb it, take it in and allow it to affect us. We believe what others say about us instead of what God says about us.

Or to be more basic, we believe the devil and not God. Not that these other people are the devil, but he may be working through them to kill, steal and destroy your joy. John 10:10.

So why wouldn’t you believe what God says about you instead of what other people may say…or better yet, what you may say and believe about yourself? Let me help you. Below is a list of what God says and believes about you.

So, who are you going to believe today, your Creator or the father of lies? John 8:44.

It would be bad teaching not to warn that the above Truths are for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If you haven’t made that decision for yourself, you do stand condemned…

So why not give your life to Jesus today?
