About 2 years ago God began building something in me that I’ve never had.
Confidence.
Then a year ago I read a book by Neal Anderson, “Victory Over The Darkness”. This book cemented everything God had been teaching me by explaining clearly who I am in Christ.
Really get that in you and it’s a face punch to the devil.
But I’ve noticed that when I get tired, really tired, not just normal end of the day tired, but smack your mama tired, my confidence cracks. How do I know? I start worrying about what other people think of me, usually a specific situation. That’s the old Dennis.
Fortunately the Holy Spirit is quick to respond by reminding me of who I am and whose I am and that I’m just tired. Give the person and situation the benefit of the doubt.
And to go to bed.
