I don’t like locked doors. I’m not sure why. Maybe I was beat as a child behind locked doors. Just kidding, Mom!
I’m not talking about locking your house up at night or when you leave or locking your car doors. You’re crazy not to do that. I’m really talking about locked doors inside your house.
You can have privacy by closing your door. Why do you have to lock it? If you raise your family to have manners then they should knock before entering anyway, right? So, why lock it? As a father, it makes me wonder what you’re doing behind those locked doors. What do you have to hide?
Ok, to be honest, the biggest gripe I have about locked doors is hearing my teenage daughters constantly yelling at each other, “Open the door!”
