I commented to Blythe at work that she looked rather tall today.

“Yeah, I’m wearing heels.”

Apparently just to rub salt in the wounds of those of us who are vertically challenged. Blythe is already tall.

Her coworker, Carolyn, replied, “I’ve never had to worry about people saying I look tall.”

As I looked down upon her 4’10” frame, I responded, “No, but God made you just how He wanted you. The Bible says you are His handiwork. You are perfect.”

No reason to fret over our height. God gave us our height. It’s not something we can do anything about except for heels maybe.

And I don’t look good in heels.

But there are plenty of things we can work on that weren’t part of His design plan.

Obesity
Laziness
Gossip
Slander
Negativity
Complaining
Greed

Just to name a few.

And if you’re a lady under the age of 60, I don’t think God wants you to have gray hair.

That’s why He made Clairol Nice ‘N Easy.
