I really enjoy solving Sudoku puzzles.

The easy ones.

I’m over the hard ones. I’ve gotten 90% through them thinking I’m the reincarnation of Einstein only to realize that the whole thing is wrong. All wrong. There’s a way that seems right to a man, but in the end leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12)

Yep, that’s what it feels like.

No more. I’m sticking to the easy ones. They are still challenging, but I am fully confident that I will get through them.

My approach to the Bible is similar. I have personally prayed to the God of the Bible in Jesus’ name and seen my prayers answered. I have witnessed life and death miracles in my family. I have seen healings done. Things that doctors couldn’t treat or medicate. The only explanation I can give is God. So I choose to believe it and therefore believe that the Bible is true. All of it. All the way to the maps.

This keeps my life simple. I don’t overthink or question the Bible. Yes, there are things I can’t explain or understand. His ways are higher than mine. His will is at times a mystery. The owner of the company that I work for is brilliant. I don’t have the mental capacity to understand everything going on inside his head, so how could I come close to understanding the mind of the Creator of the Universe?

I’m like the blind man in John 9 that Jesus healed. You can interrogate me all you want about the Bible and who Jesus is and I’m just going to keep telling you what He did for me. That’s all the Truth and evidence I need.

And it gives me all the confidence I need to get through this life.
