You Do Seek Him

You may not know that it’s Jesus you’re seeking, but it is.

That empty spot in your soul that you try to fill with other things, other people, activities, busyness, money, sex, getting high or drunk, doing good deeds, or maybe even religion itself, none of these will take residence in your heart and satisfy your soul. None will give you peace that passes all understanding. Only Jesus can give you that peace. It’s unlike anything that the world offers.

His followers looked for Him in the tomb on that Resurrection Sunday, but they looked in the wrong place. Don’t make the same mistake. He’s not hard to find now. He is Risen. Just confess that you’re a sinner in need of Him as you’re Savior and Jesus will find you.

All of your troubles won’t go away, but that empty spot will get filled.
